Sample Itinerary
Day 1-2: Meet and Greet/Airport Pickup
Arrive at the Airport where our Tour Leader will be waiting for you
After arrival, you will be given a warm and friendly welcome to Jamaica. In the evening or depending on flight arrival time, a group orientation follows with an introduction and a summary of your upcoming adventure. Following the orientation, you are invited to join the group Tour Companion for a group dinner.
We encourage groups to arrive on Saturday or Sunday, and trips begin on a Monday (if not a holiday).
Day 3: Kingston Day Tour
Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, with a population of approx. One (1) million people is the heartbeat of Jamaica. Kingston boasts some of the most unique landmarks, heart of commercial activities and a hub for a mix of nature and culture. Visit the once wickedest city in Jamaica, -Port Royal- and see the sunken city, experience reggae music at the Bob Marley Museum, taste the fifth best ice cream in the world at Devon House and much more, the possibilities are endless when touring Kingston.
Day 4: Visit a Local School
Your day will be filled with learning and new experiences as you visit a local school in Jamaica. This is the perfect opportunity for students to immerse in the local culture and learn the “patois” language spoken in Jamaica. Interact with other students, participate in projects, and gain insights into a different educational system. In the evening, students are free to reflect on the day’s activities and journal the experience.
Day 5: Field Trip + Cultural Excursion
Venture on a field trip based on your curriculum. Students will get the opportunity to see hands-on what they have learnt in theory. This may include a trip to the eastern part of the island, Portland, for a visit to Two (2) of Jamaica’s Five (5) Maroon Settlements. Portland is the home of tourism in Jamaica. Students will learn first-hand about the history of the Maroons, who were runaway slaves during the British era. The area has lush vegetation which also gives students the opportunity to learn about unique herbs, and the area's flora and fauna. The trip ends with a hike to the secret waterfall of Jamaica’s only heroine.
Day 6: Blue Mountain Excursion
The Blue Mountain has the highest peak in Jamaica at 7402ft/2256m. This group activity captures the best sceneries on the island. Students will embark on a once in a lifetime trip. Please note the hike to the peak will be optional. Visit the Blue Mountain coffee farms, interact with local farmers. Volunteer on the farm learning about the best coffee in the world and how it’s grown. This is a must do activity in Jamaica.
Day 7: Departure/Airport drop-off
The ending to a wonderful adventure. We say our goodbyes or see you next time.
How it works
You are required to fill out our registration form with your non-refundable registration fee ($99usd each), the balance will be due 3 months before the trip start date. We offer a payment plan schedule for trips more than 4-6 months away from the trip scheduled start date.
