About Farming Assistant Volunteer Program
Volunteers may opt to work at either of our placements based on the need. Work on a Blue Mountain coffee farm or on a local farm in Portland. Volunteers gain valuable experience working alongside farmers learning about soil types and their correlation to which crops to plant.
You will be working on a farm in rural Jamaica; volunteers must prepare themselves well and able to do manual work. The task includes preparing the land for planting, reaping crops and selling at the market.
